“Micawber” style SOLD!

Here’s one for the Keith Richards aficionado. A five string open G power monster! Featuring an Ash body and one piece maple neck. All hardware is by Fenderâ„¢ except for Keith’s preferred Sperzel locking tuners. Hardware all hand aged.

I took care to add the result of years of playing to this instrument. Even to the point of the missing dot on the fretboard.

Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity with an Earl Slick Fullerton Lead bridge pickup. The early Broadcaster wiring is featured. This gives you:

  • Switch in position 1: Bridge pickup alone, and you can use the Blend knob (where the tone knob normally sits) to blend in the neck pickup until you get that perfect ‘Keef’ tone. With the blend knob at maximum, both pickup are full up.
  • Stitch in position 2 (middle): Neck pickup only.
  • Switch in position 3: Neck pickup with a capacitor in circuit for a toned down humbucker sound.

Weight: 7.2 pounds.

Fingerboard radius: 9.5″

Strings: Ernie Ball (same as the “Keef” set).

This is a great sounding guitar and it’s fun to play. I do have the 6th saddle if you want it and are not ‘all in’ on the open G train.

$1550 includes hard case.
